5.28.09 Gn12,13 Mt12

Genesis 12:
The Lord revealed to Abram and told him that he was blessed. He will be given the land of Canaan. Abram took his possessions, along with Lot and Sarai, and went. When they went to Egypt, Abram told Sarai to call herself the sister of Abram because she was beautiful and Abram would be in danger if she didn't say so. Therefore, the King Pharaoh mistakened Sarai as the sister of Abram and took her as his wife. However, God sent great diseases to the king, so he found out. He then sent Abram away.

Genesis 13:
After leaving Egypt, Abram came back to where he was before entering into egypt. He parted with Lot there, becuase of the quarrels of their herdsmen. Lot picked his land and went lived close to Sodom. Abram lived in Canaan, the promise land. All the land that he could see was his, for this was God's promise.

Matthew 12:
Jesus went through the grainfield. His disciples were hungry so they went and ate the heads of grain, and the pharasees judged them. Jesus used the example of David to rebuke them and taught them a lesson. Jesus then saw a man at their synagogue. His hand was shriveled. Jesus cured him even though the Pharasees tested Him asking if it is lawful to cure on sabbath. They started planing how to kill Jesus. After knowing their plan, Jesus with drew from their, he cured the sick, and told them not to tell others who He was. this was to fulfill the speaking of prophet Isaiah. When Jesus healed the person who was mute and blind, He was acused by the pharasees as being the son of deamons. Jesus responded, demon cannot drive out demon, for they cannot go against themselves. Also the fruit of the good is good, the bad bad. and person would be recognized by his fruit.
The Pharasees asked for a moraculous sign, and Juses propehsized that they will not get it, and only Jonah, for he was in the belly of a huge fish, and so would Jesus the heart of the earth. He also prphesized that men's spirit would be occupied by the evil spirit. greater than it started out with. Jesus preached again, saying that whoever does the will of the Father was his brother, sister, and mother.
