Genesis 6:
The flood is going to come. So the people at Noah's time didn't behave. God wanted to sweep out the earth, but He was at the same time heart-broken. Noah was thought to be a righteous man, so God had him make an ark, and take two of each kind of creatures and his family up there, and God is going to clean out the rest.
Mattew 6:

Do things insecret so that only the Fther could see, for the things done in public, men have already received praise.
Here comes my favorite--the Lord's prayer.
Like doing things for people, do not prayer in public for the purpose of others hearing you. But pray in secret, so the Father may come to you and be intimate with you.
Store up treasures in Heaven. Where your treasure is, there is your heart also. and keep your eyes cleans for they are the reflection of your inner self.
God says don't worry, because if you (33)Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. these things--cloth, food, money....
