When God brought judgement upon her, he also gave her a wonderful promise--though the human race cannot escape death, they will continue to have children generation after generation. so Jean, remember when you are under judgement, God is also bringing his promise to you!

discipline

There are a lot of things in my life that I recognize as God's work, but due to my laziness and my own failure, I didn't keep a record of them. now that I think about it, I don't remember a lot of them. and the ones i remember are the ones that are written down. but God is still really good to me. He doesn't let me linger long before he shows me my shortcomings and sinfullness. he always always reminds me of his love and his watching over me. I need to put on some discipline to physically follow him, and be practical about the lessons that i learned, so that I could keep growing instead of failing all the time!

Psalm 51

This is the prayer for you Jean,

Have mercy on me, O God,
according to YOUR unfailing love;
according to YOUR great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and clease me from my sin.

Jean, there is nothing about you! even God's forgiveness!
