Genesis 4:
Adam and Eve were out of the Garden of Eden. Eve gave birth to two sons--Cain and Abel. Because Cain didn't follow the rule fo offering, the Lord favoed Abel's offering better than his. He went and killed Abel. God found out, and chased him out of the land where his parents were. He was punished to be a wanderer, however, whoever would kill Cain, would bear veagence 7 times more. Cain left but he multiplied. Adam and Eve had another son -Seth. Men began to call on the name of the Lord.
Matthew 4:
Jesus was fasting for 40 days, and when He was in the wilderness, the devil tempted Him 3 times, and all 3 times, He chased away the devil. After He heard John the Baptist was put in jail, He went back to Galilee, and started preaching. When Jesus was at the sea of Galilee, He picked His first two disciples--Simon Perter, and his brother Andrew. Then He went through Galilee, teaching in synagogues, many people from the region around came and He healed their sickness, and more people came and followed Him
