Genesis 5:
from Adam to Noah:
Adam--Enosh--Kenan--Mahalalel--Jared--Enoch--Methesulah--Lamech--Noah.
Lamech said that Noah will bring comfort in the suffering of labor that God cursed onto the ground. People back then all lived long lives. Noah had 3 sons, Shem, Ham, Japheth.
Matthew 5:
This is an intense chapter, it's almost all in red.
Blessed are the kind of people who are not perfect, and are striving for His kingdom and righteousness.
We are the salt and light of the world, we are God's messengers, we cannot hide. So evangelize!
He came to fulfill the laws and prophecies. We need to teach others to follow the law with the right heart, and then, we can meet Him in heaven.
Do not murder, or else judgement will come upon us. But if we become angry at others, same thing will happen, because they are the same. Make appologies quickly, or else the consequence can be unaffordable.
Do not commit adultery, and amputate the body parts that cause you to sin readically, so that you may go in to heaven.
Divorce needs certificate.
Do not swear but just do what you say
Do not turn against people, and give freely.
Love your neighbors and pray for your enemies, bucause God first loved us, and He is just. Be like Him.
